I’m sick of using plastic clothes pegs which soon break and end up in landfill and I bet you do too. Stainless steel pegs last for years and are sturdy enough to hold clothes on the line on a windy day. These are marine grade (316) so they can handle salt water if you’re close to the sea and will also not rust if left outside.
You may have seen other grades of stainless-steel pegs available – 306 and 201. These are of lesser quality and therefore cheaper but to keep things simple I’m only selling the highest grade (316).
At this stage I have limited stock available while I see if there is enough demand for them.
- Ideally these would be made in New Zealand from recycled stainless steel but until then yes, they’re imported from China.
- Although they’re marine grade I suggest bringing them inside out of the weather when possible. Keeping them in a peg apron or bucket which is stored inside is a good option.
- These are currently sold in packs on 16 and will come in a simple paper bag to reduce the cost of extra packaging.
