So where is your website traffic coming from?
Knowing where visitors to your site are coming from is key information to help you know more about who is visiting your website.
Ideally you want traffic coming from a number of sources. The Google Analytics reports shows you to top five and the % breakdown of these.
Google is often your key source of traffic due to it's dominance in the NZ search engine market.
Other places that will be referring visitors to your site are Social Media sites like Facebook.
Directories are another great source of referrals as well as associated websites that link to yours. If you think you are missing out on directory referrals check out the article Get your website greater exposure through Free Online Directories.
Have a look at where your traffic is coming from and assess whether this makes sense for your business. The aim is to have the net capturing new visitors to your website as wide as possible.
