Seminars
Seminars are excellent opportunities to educate clients, prospective clients and train staff.
Seminars take place at a location on a given date and time and those who cannot attend miss out. Videoing the seminar allows you to make it available in the future and enables you to leverage the event or training further.
Examples of how seminar videos can be used are:
- Uploaded onto your website
- Uploaded into an online learning portal for staff training
- Produced as a DVD to sell or giveaway
- Produced as a looping DVD to show at a Trade show or Conference
- Included in presentations
The Process...
Prior to the seminar MadeSimple will scout the location to ensure acoustics and light are suitable. A lapel mic will be placed on the speaker(s) to ensure their audio is captured and other microphones will be used to capture room sound. If required, professional lighting will be used to ensure the speaker(s) are correctly lit.
On the day MadeSimple will arrive in advance and set up and test the microphones and lighting.
The seminar is then filmed with either one or two cameras depending on the needs of the client and the venue set up and size. The camera(s) are HD format and are broadcast quality.
Once the filming is completed the Post Production begins. Firstly two camera shoots are edited. Then the PowerPoint Slides are embedded into the video and the footage is colour corrected and the audio mixed. Opening and or closing graphics and lower thirds are added if required.
The completed video can then be outputted, as required, for web, DVD or as a Quicktime movie to include in presentations.
